It is the responsibility of all members to become familiar with the range rules. Members are also responsible to educate any of their guests. Below is a list of the General Rules.

General Rules

1. Membership is required.
2. Paper targets on backboards only.
3. No targets to be placed on framework or posts.
4. No person handling firearms while others are down range.
5. Always point firearms down range when at firing line.
6. Action open and magazine unloaded whenever anyone is down range.
7. Pickup targets and litter.
8. Hearing & Eye protection is highly recommended.
9. Holmen Rod & Gun Club is not responsible for accidents, loss, or theft.
10. No rapid fire on rifle range.
11. Anyone not following the above rules may have their membership cancelled and may be prosecuted under State of Wisconsin statute  941-20.

If your Annual Membership is current, and your card does not open the gate, please follow the instructions on the sign at the gate.

Lifetime members are still required to update their contact information each year in July- December, as your cards are only valid for one Calendar year (Jan 1^st– Dec 31^st). Update online, at club meetings or by mailing Name, Address, City, State, Zip, Phone number and email address to Holmen Rod & Gun Club.

To operate the gate, hold your  RFID membership card over  the keypad and the gate will open. The five-digit number on your card is not a code to open the gate.

If you deicide to pause or cancel your subscription to membership please : KEEP YOUR CARD. IT WILL BE RE-PROGRAMMED IF YOU LATER DECIDE TO RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP!

The new cards are designed to provide several years of use. They will be programmed to each member yearly and will operate the gate from 7:30 AM – 9:00 PM. As in the past, there will be no shooting before 8:00 AM.

When your card becomes worn or unreliable from normal use, replacement cards will be provided free of charge.

To receive a replacement card, contact our Membership Director at hrgcmemberships@gmail.com or attend a monthly meeting. You may be charged $50 for a replacement card.

1. Hover over the “Membership” tab
2. Select Life Member Renewal & Contact Information Update
3. Fill out the form and click “send your request”
4. To update your current contact information by mail, send your name, address, phone number and email address to:

This Must be done to keep our contact information with you current.  If you move to a new address, update your information at your convenience.

We encourage you to attend our monthly meetings held the 2^nd Wednesday of each month except December, at 7:00 PM. Meetings are held on club grounds, W7503 Co Rd T Holmen, WI.
